The Produce Association would like to thank everybody for supporting the Autumn Show, which was very successful. The judges were once again impressed with the standard of exhibits, and are pleased to judge such quality fair.

We had a wide variety of entries of vegetables, flowers, baking, photography and were delighted with the exhibits in each section. The flower arrangements were beautiful and full of colour giving the judges difficult decisions to make.

The children’s section was extremely well supported with exhibits ranging from Dr Who monsters made from fruit and vegetable to photography. The standard of their entries go up every year and are a delight to see.

The large selection of flowers, vegetables, wines and handicraft continue to amaze all of us on the committee and are so grateful for everyone making the show so successful.

After the presentation of the cups, we then presented to the Axminster Branch of the Marie Curie a cheque forIMG_4381£400 which was raised from a coffee morning we held in September, for the support they gave to Brian Gardner and his family.

The afternoon was enjoyed by a great many people and rounded off by a cheerful auction, helped by the children enthusiastically displaying the wares

Andrew Gray Cup – For most prize money in Chrysanthemum class – John Lang
